First Things First [ Podcast 3]

I am reminded to seek ye first the kingdom of God in everything we do.  Some people call it doing “First Things First.”  We are called to Give God the Glory in everything we do.  We do that by honoring Him, by doing what we know is right, by respecting others, and by praising God.  In this weeks Bible reading we cover the beginning of Abram in the book of Genesis.  I have a conversation with Terrance Jackson of AG Faith.  And I tack on a comedy bit from comedian Nikita B. Williams.

Do it all for the Glory of God

Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God.  1 Corinthians 10:31

So, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God.

In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven.  Matthew 5:16

Not to us, O Lord, not to us, but to your name give glory, for the sake of your steadfast love and your faithfulness!   Psalm 115:1

Interview with Terrance Jackson

Entrepreneurs are an optimistic group. When you combine your faith with a business sense the result is awesome. I can say that with assurance because I am watching the success of my friend Terrance Jackson of the AG Faith brand. AG Faith is a Christian ministry and a movement in this inspirational lifestyle apparel line inspired by Ephesians 6:11 (Holy Bible).

I have nothing to do with his success but I am praising God for showing him favor.  God is so good…

Terrance told me it started when he went to buy clothes for his small children and saw the negative images on the clothing. He did’t want images on his children reflecting death, destruction, sex, or money.

We believe the world would be a better place if we put on the spiritual armor of God. Our mission is to activate that simple principle by providing products to elevate the mind, body and spirit. We want to inspire people to boldly stand up to life’s challenges knowing they are armed with God’s word and are blessed with His glory.

We design and deliver apparel we hope will motivate and encourage you to put on the whole armor of God and receive His glory.

Over the past few months I have watched him (on Instagram mostly) share his brand with celebrities, and athletes.

This “David” does have a Goliath though that does not like him. A very large corporation has threatened this small company over the name. They have challenged the patent and the trademarked name in a vain attempt to scare AG from continuing. I have seen the letter. I could not believe the nastiness. I couldn’t believe and no longer will buy anything from them even though they make everything from hats to shoes for men.
They are truly “Under” this Armor, and beneath this brand.

A couple of weeks ago Terrance had a big event at the Golds Gym in Largo, Maryland called GloryFit where a portion of the proceeds went to the American Diabetes Association.

The AG group is doing something constantly. You can follow them on IG too at @armorglory

I am asking for prayer.

For the United States
For Christians
For this small Christian American family owned small business using this brand to minister and encourage the Words of God.  https://www.agfaith.com

Christian persecution is not a cliche. Around the world Christians are being martyred. Churches are being burned. Congregations are being robbed. People are shot in worship services. The United States today is at the most anti-Christ like state I can remember or read about in history. This is evident in cartoons, commercials and corporations. You can be anything accept Christian.

I am asking you to pray for our nation (the U.S.), and for a small company my friend started to give God glory. It is a lifestyle fitness movement using what Paul told the church at Ephesus to do in times like these.

Put on the full armor of God, so that you will be able to stand firm against the schemes of the devil. Ephesians 6:11

Who would have known that creating a logo and using the Word of God would be grounds to be sued by a mega-corporation for the use of the word “armor” which they spell differently and can’t own. This is what is happening though. See https://www.agfaith.com/our-story
